LosslessCut is a free cross-platform tool for trimming/cutting both video and audio files. With it, you can cut out and discard large parts of video and audio files without losing any quality.
It has no need for encoding or decoding which allows it deliver a speedy service. Said to be great for rough processing of video files taken from a video camera, drone, GoPro, e.t.c.

Install LosslessCut by downloading its .zip
package from GitHub, extracting the archived file, and double-clicking on the “LosslessCut” executable file to launch the app.

Using LosslessCut is straightforward.
- Add the video either from its menu or by drag and drop.
- Next, select the start (i.e. the “<” icon) and end (“>” ) time of the video you want to cut.
- Click the scissors icon to export it.
